BANGKOK, THAILAND, 23 September 2021 - 2C2P, a global payments platform, announced today new partnerships in Vietnam and Cambodia to expand its cross-border remittance service, easy2send, from Thailand. In Vietnam, 2C2P will team up with Sai Gon Joint Stock Commercial Bank (SCB), one of Vietnam’s top five joint stock commercial banks by assets, and in Cambodia, 2C2P will work with eMoney Payment Solutions, the nation’s leading mobile wallet provider.

In 2019, the Bank of Thailand licensed 2C2P to be an international money transfer operator and easy2send was launched in Myanmar (via Myanmar commercial bank CB Bank), Cambodia (via Cambodian wallet operator Wing Money) and Europe (via London-based mobile wallet operator KogoPay). In 2020, an easy2send corridor opened between Thailand and Singapore. With the latest partnerships, users will be able to access a convenient, affordable, secure and nearly instant money transfer service from Thailand to Vietnam as well as Cambodia via another operator.

Currently, there are 1.8 million Cambodians and more than 100,000 Vietnamese reported to be living and working in Thailand. Meanwhile, Thailand imported US$486.8 million worth of goods from Vietnam in the first four months of 2021.
