Powering solar energy solutions with streamlined payment collections

The challenge

To create a transparent and interactive customer experience, Solaroo developed a mobile app under the same name. Apart from granting customers the autonomy to monitor their solar generation and saving, the Solaroo app is also designed to help them track and pay their bills.

Before digitalising their operations, Solaroo also manually collected payments and matched invoices to their customers.

Solaroo needed the following:

• Ability to accept a range of digital payment methods on its mobile app

• Digitally collect payments and match invoices to their customers

How we helped

2C2P helped Solaroo by integrating its payment acceptance solution with their end-to-end operation system. This integration ensures that all payments made by customers are accurately tracked and matched.

For example, when a Solaroo agent agrees on a quotation with a customer, the customer will be able to pay the initial deposit through a payment link generated by 2C2P’s payment portal.

Subsequent monthly payments are made through Solaroo’s mobile app, which is also powered by 2C2P. Through this integration, Solaroo is able to tap on 2C2P’s comprehensive payments network to accept a range of digital payment methods, including cards, Financial Process Exchange (FPX), and Instalment Payment Plans (IPP).
